Fresca Passione Gelateria
C. Padre Enrique Cantos, 4, 29602 Marbella, Málaga, Spain
We have audited 25 ice cream shops in Marbella using a public method. This is not a list of favourites and it is not a review average: it is what the evidence says about who makes real artisan ice cream on the premises.

A small cone or cup with two flavours usually runs 3–4 €. In the most touristy spots expect 1–2 € more. Price alone tells you nothing about quality.
In Spain say «helado». Artisan Spanish helado sits close to Italian gelato: dense, low air, served at a slightly warmer temperature than industrial ice cream. Look for «helado artesano» made in an on-site workshop (obrador).
Turrón is the Spanish almond nougat from Jijona. Turrón ice cream is one of the great classics of Spanish artisan shops — a good test flavour: industrial versions taste only of sugar.
No. Paying never changes the scoops, the score or the ranking, in any country.
